Hyderabad, September 2: Thousands of Muslims offered Eid-ul Fitr prayer at Eidgah Gutla Begumpet with religious fervour. Convenor Telangana Praja Front (TPF) Gadar was also present along with the worshipers. Later talking to media persons the revolutionary poet Gadar said that the government has encroached upon the Muslims’ waqf property worth lakhs of rupees and it has handed over some expensive waqf properties to various industrial units. Today waqf properties are at the verge of destruction due to negligence of government. He claimed.
He asserted that mosques and Eidgahs are the houses of Allah where prayers are performed but some opportunistic elements don’t even spare mosques and Eidgahs.
He claimed chief minister’s visit to Eidgah Gutla Begumpet as indispensable. He demanded that government return Allah’s land to Allah’s servant and prove being a secular chief minister.
