Those who talk of enacting Uniform Civil Code should see whether there are uniform laws in other religions. Islam is the only religion which has no discrimination between the poor and the rich, black and the white. There is no big or small in Islam. There is complete equality in Islam. This the reason that Islam is the fast spreading religion in the entire world.
These thoughts were expressed by Maulana Mohammed Omer Norani who was addressing a large gathering of Muslims on the occasion of Shab-e-Barath organized by Milad Committee at Khilwath Maidan day before yesterday. He further told that many anti-Muslim forces are hatching conspiracies against Islam. In such a situation it is the duty of the Muslims to be alert. He also told that Islam spread not because of the force of the sword but it on the basis of good character and equality.
