Those who say ‘lynching won’t stop until cow slaughter is stopped’, should be jailed: Yogendra Yadav

New Delhi: Mev community organised a Maha Panchayat on Sunday against recent mob lynching of Akbar, who was killed by gau rakshaks on the suspicion of cow slaughter. Representatives of various organisations, scholars, political and social leaders belonging to Mewat attended the panchayat.

On the occasion, a resolution was passed by Rakbar Killing Justice Committee, demanding Rs. 50 lakh compensation from the government, government job to the widow. They also demanded that MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja and Nawal Kishore should be put to trial for planning Akbar’s killing and other criminals should immediately be arrested.

On the occasion, national president Swaraj India and farmer leader Yogendra Yadav said, those who say lynching will not end till the cow slaughter is stopped should be put behind the bars. He claimed that especially Mewat is being targeted.
