Alwar, August 22: Nearly 13 students were hospitalised today in Rajgarh sub-division here while 30 were treated on spot after they complained of stomach pain and vomitting following consumption of mid-day meal in school, official sources said.
“Thirteen students of Government Senior Primary School of Odhpur village were admitted to hospital while rest were given primary treatment on spot by the medical team,” they said, adding condition of admitted students is out of danger.
“Food samples have been collected and Head Master and the Mid-day Meal in charge have been suspended,” Lal Chand Pareek, Sub-divisional Magistrate said adding investigation into the matter is on.
