Reiterating that bye-elections were necessitated due to horse-trading of the MLAs, AICC observer K B Krishnamurthy has said that the unwanted bye-elections have become a huge burden to the people.
Addressing the NSUI executive meeting at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, the AICC leader said that though many big leaders deserted the Congress in the past and threatened that the party would be no more, but nothing had happened to the party, more over the deserters suffered a lot. He called upon the Congress cadre and NUSI activists to explain to the people about how the 18 MLAs deceived the Congress party.
