They have no Right to Seek Changes in T Bill: Jana Reddy

Telangana senior Congress leader and Panchayat Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy here on Thursday said nobody has a right to demand amendments to the AP Reorganisation Bill 2013.
Speaking to media persons, Jana Reddy said nobody has any right to seek amendments to the Telangana Bill. However, the members can express their views in favour of amendments, he added. The minister exuded confidence that the next elections would be held in newly carved out Telangana State only.
Responding to a question, Jana Reddy said he would react on the question of Seemandhra leaders seeking more time on the debate on Telangana Bill later. However, he said the Seemandhra legislators obstructed the debate on the Telangana Bill since the beginning of the Assembly session and wasted precious time. But their contemplation to seek more time for the debate on the Bill was nothing but a conspiracy to drag the issue further and put the Bill in cold storage.
Jana Reddy pointed out that the President sent the Telangana Bill to the Assembly only to elicit opinion of the legislators on the Bill as per the traditions of the Constitution. There would be no voting on the bill under any circumstances, he added. (NSS)
