New Delhi, August 01: Former Union minister Shashi Tharoor and his friend Sunanda Pushkar today offered prayers at the famous Shani Shingnapur temple in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district.
Tharoor and Pushkar arrived at the temple in the afternoon and performed ‘abhishek’ (offering).
Asked about the visit, Tharoor told mediapersons he had performed the ritual for “family peace”.
Pushkar was seated to the right of Tharoor while performing the pooja.
