A 10 member delegation from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), headed by Verasak Supprasert, Director of International Industrial Economics, Ministry of Industry, visited Sri City on Friday. The purpose of their visit was to have a detailed study about the infrastructure and the policies.
Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City extended a warm welcome, and briefed the team on the infrastructure, assistance and various incentives that are being offered to the investors by the state and central governments. They all evinced keen interest and quizzed on different aspects of Sri City. The delegation went around the campus and visited the factory of the Rockworth Industries, a Thailand company.
Welcoming the visitors, Ravindra Sannareddy said, “I feel happy to have the UTCC study group at Sri City, and I am confident, the findings of their study will enhance the trade relations between India and Thailand.”
Impressed with the infrastructure and industry-friendly ambiance of Sri City, Verasak Supprasert appreciated the initiatives taken by the Sri City management in developing such a large industrial park. He said that Sri City is one of the focal points of economic evolution and high yield on investment, in India. (INN)
