TG Venkatesh slams KCR

Anantapur, January 09 (INN): Minor Irrigation Minister T G Venkatesh on Sunday once again fired a salvo against TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Talking to media persons after performing pooja at Kanyaka Parameswari Temple in Guntakal and distributing financial help to poor Arya Vysya students, he said that there were no committed people behind the Telangana agitation led by KCR. He accused KCR of running the statehood agitation by making provoking statements and resorting to attacks on other party leaders using ‘goondas’ while causing law and order problem.

“The creation of Telangana will not be materialised with hurling of eggs and obstructing yatras of leaders,” he said.

He said that the government should deal with such acts with an iron hand and frame special laws giving more teeth to the police. He called upon unemployed youth and students not to fall in the trap of KCR and lose their valuable academic year due to police cases.

Venkatesh alleged that KCR and YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy have conspired to vote in favour of No Confidence Motion introduced against Chief Minister N KIran Kumar Reddy. (INN)
