Test Engineer
Develop test cases and test plans and performs software testing activities.
Install and configure software products on various platforms.
Develop and maintain automated software tests.
Report software defects and track quality metrics such as defect counts and test coverage.
Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
0 – 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, software technical
support, or related field.
Knowledge of software development or quality assurance methodologies and terminology.
Exposure to any Quality Management Systems or web-based applications like PDM/PLM, would be
an advantage.
Experience in automated testing, software programming, or software scripting would be an
advantage. Experience with Selenium for automation would be an added advantage.
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.
Experience using Windows or UNIX operating systems.
Working knowledge of Web Servers, Servlet Engines, Databases and LDAP as they relate to web
applications is beneficial.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
