New Delhi: Parliamentary constituencies of Begusarai of Bihar and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh hold importance in many ways and have become a test of political prudence of voters. These views were expressed by noted Islamic scholar and Professor Emirates of Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi, Dr Akhtarul Wasey. He said this is because former JNU Students Union leader Kanhaiya Kumar and former ABVP leader and terror accused Sadhvi are contesting from these seats.
Begusarai will go to polls on April 29, while polling will be held in Bhopal on May 12.
In an appeal, Prof Wasey said the message from both the constituencies will go loud and clear and far off. He said, all eyes are at Begusarai hence he appealed voters to vote in large numbers unitedly to preserve the constitution of India and strengthen secularism.
By fielding Kanhaiya Kumar in Begusarai, CPI and AISF have made it communalism vs secularism and fascism vs secularism.
