TES Orbit Magazine bags ICE Award

TES Orbit, a magazine published by Takshila Educational Society has won the 1st runner-up trophy in the best magazine (NGO) category of the prestigious Shailaja Nair Foundation ICE Award s 2014.

The ICE awards – among the most coveted awards in the corporate world – were announced at a glittering ceremony held in Bandra, Mumbai recently.

Celebrities like John Abraham, Anup Jalota and Dr Radhakrishnan Pillai, author of Corporate Chanakya graced the occasion. Around 700 magazines from all over the country vie for the prestigious award every year.

Rajnish Sharma, Editor of TES Orbit , said: “It is a proud moment for us. Orbit has in just a few years’ time grown from an in-house magazine to a full-fledged pan-Indian magazine.”

In a unique experiment, TES Orbit blends educational issues with commercial journalism and its readership base includes educational institutes, students, teachers, parents, competitive exam aspirants and lay readers.

Overall, the most striking feature of TES Orbit is the topical significance of the issues it covers, while maintaining a very readable and visually appealing presentation. It boasts of both depth and diversity of themes covered.
