Terror funding case: Patiala House Court extends judicial custody of 10 accused

New Delhi: The Patiala House Court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of 10 accused in connection with a case related to the terror funding activities in Kashmir.

On October 3, Independent Jammu and Kashmir MLA Engineer Rashid was questioned by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the same regard.

The NIA in the recent past has arrested many separatist leaders and businessmen in this regard.

Earlier on September 6, the investigation agency conducted searches at around 27 locations in Srinagar and Delhi.

Last month, the NIA arrested seven Kashmiri separatists – Altaf Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Mehraj Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam, Naeem Khan and Bitta Karate for allegedly funding terror activities in the Kashmir Valley.
