Tirupati, March 08: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has made elaborate arrangements for the annual Teppotsavam at Tirumala to be held from March 15 to 19.
The processional deity, Lord Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts will be taken out on a tastefully decorated float in Swamy Pushkarini during the five-day event.The TTD has suspended Sahasradeepalankara Seva during the float festival. Grihastas interested in participating in the float festival can do so by paying Rs 2,500 per ticket. Five persons are allowed on each ticket, according to a press release.Tarigonda Brahmotsavams: Meanwhile, the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy at Tarigonda will be held from March 12 to 21, said TTD executive officer IYR Krishna Rao.He said the mega event will take off with Dhwajarohanam on March 12 .
The important days of Brahmotsavams are Kalyanotsavam on March 17, Rathotsavam on March 18, Dhoputirunala Parveta and Aswa Vahanam on March 19 and Pushpa Yagam on March 21.
JEO Yuvaraj, DyEO (local temples), Jhansi Rani and others were present.
