Tension prevailed in the Begumbazaar area here today as Hindu activists raised slogans as Muslims coming out of the mosques after Friday prayers.
Police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.
Controversial BJP leaders Sakshi Maharaj and Sadhvi Prachi were also invited in Hyderabad for procession.
