Hyderabad, September 07: Tension prevailed in the CIB Quaters at Khairtabad after the miscreants attacked the youths and pelted stones on the minority community. The miscreants tried to give communal colour to a petty accident that took place early this evening.
The sources told that this evening a mild accident took place between the vehicles belonging to Kishore and Irfan who resides in the same locality. But Kishore used vulgar language and threatened Irfan. Later Kishore along with his associates allegedly pelted stones on Muslim houses and youths.This created a tension in the area and the locals informed to the Saifabad police that reached the spot late.
The police instead taken two Muslim youths into custody while the members of the other community were allowed go scot free. The Police later pressed Quick Reaction Team and Task Force into service.
The Police had deployed heavy police force in the area.
