Tension started in Habeeb Nagar area of Mallapally when people started quarrelling on the issue of erecting a gate at Sadat ground. People from Mangod tribe assembled and there was a tension in the area. Inspector of Habeeb Nagar reached the spot immediately and controls the situation. He deputed police pickets at the spot. Police also increased its daily rounds in the area.
