Tension in abids as congress groups clash

Hyderabad, November 15:Tension prevailed in Abids when two groups of Congress clashed with each other.

The Congress ticket here was given to Minister Mukhesh Goud’s brother. However, a party worker, Mohan, protesting the allotment, filed his nomination and tried till the last minute for the party nomination. When the party leadership did not concede his demand, he remained in the fray as Congress rebel candidate.
On Sunday, there were rumours that Mukesh’s brother was distributing money to the voters. Hearing this, supporters of Mohan went to the spot and picked up a quarrel with the followers of Mukesh’s brother.
