Kabul: At least ten people were killed and four others were injured in an explosion in Kabul today.
Najib Danish, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, confirmed the incident.
Khaama Press quoted Danish, as saying that the attack took place in the 5th police district of Kabul. The target was a vehicle carrying appellate court employees of Maidan Wardak.
He added that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
No one has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
The Taliban had earlier vowed to target judiciary workers in retaliation for the execution of a number of its members by the Afghan government.
The Afghan government executed at least six militants over terror offences in Kabul earlier this month.
The execution of the militants followed days after a deadly attack in capital Kabul left at least 64 people dead and 347 others wounded.(ANI)
