Hyderabad: The local weather bureau has announced southwest monsoon is soon to hit Rayalseema in the next 48 hours. Many parts of the city like Secunderabad, Begumpet, Nampally, Red Hills, Jubilee Hills, Basheerbagh has already received moderate rainfall yesterday with the temperature dropping to 39.7 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature recorded was 44 degrees Celsius at Ramagundam.
The state could see the temperature rise in the next 24 hours before monsoon really hits the State.
With the Met Department officials declaring monsoon arrival in the northeast parts of the Bay of Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya, people in Rayalseema will soon be relieved from the scorching heat in the next couple of days, DC reported.
