Hyderabad, November 2: Falaknuma Raithu bazaar is one such Raithu bazaar of the city whose 90 percent costumers comprise of Urdu knowing people but the problem is that 99 percent rate boards present in this Raithu bazaar are written in ‘Telugu’ as a result the customers face lot of difficulties and confusion with regard to the cost of items. Since they don’t know Telugu they are not sure whether they charged more than the actual cost of items.
Though the rates are written in Urdu on the board placed at the entrance of Raithu bazaar but on the remaining 111 stalls rates are written only in Telugu and not in any other language. The farmers and other shop owners take advantage of this and tell extra cost to Urdu knowing costumers and thus chisel Urdu knowing customers out of their money.
On repeated demand by the costumers for boards in Urdu a proposal had been sent to assistant director of marketing a year ago but the proposal has not been sanctioned yet.
