Karimnagar [TS]: A group of men physically assaulted a youth after he allegedly harassed a minor girl. This incident took place in Karimnagar District, Telangana.
According to the report published in Deccan Chronicle, earlier, the incident was projected as communal clash. Claims were made that Hindus have beaten a Muslim youth and forced him to chant, “Jai Sri Ram”.
Later, when the fact came to light, it was found that the youth was beaten up by the Hindu social service organization after he reportedly harassed a minor girl.
As per the details furnished by Karimnagar Super-intendent V.B. Kamala-san Reddy, the youth had gone to Karimnagar to see his relative who was admitted to a hospital. An employee of the hospital found him harassing the girl.
Later, the employee of the hospital who is also a member of the Hindu organization and others started beating him.
Police registered a case against the youth.
