Telangana would be a peaceful State- Hamed Mohd Khan

Mr. Hamed Mohd Khan, President of Movement for Peace and Justice told that the formation of separate Telangana State is an evidence of honoring the sentiments and the constitutional rights of the people of Telangana for which people had to struggle for a long time. More than 1000 students sacrificed their lives.

Movement for Peace and Justice considers it as the victory of the people of Telangana and demands the Central Govt. to present Telangana Bill in the Parliament as early as possible. It also demands to resolve all the issues including distribution of Water, Electric Power, etc., amicably. We expect that Telangana State would be developed keeping its historical background. He also expected that Telangana State would be a peaceful State.

He recalled that Movement for Peace and Justice played a key role along with Telangana Coordination committee, Telangana Political JAC and Telangana Praja Front. He wished that the new State should represent the sentiments of weaker sections including Daliths and the Muslims. He hoped that Telangana would emerge as an exemplary welfare State. He also demanded the Quota should be fixed for the Muslims in all the welfare schemes, employment, education and Govt. contracts on par with other backward classes.
