Telangana: The majority of the exit polls are making similar predictions on the number of seats AIMIM and BJP are likely to win. Out of the 119 Assembly seats in Telangana, there is almost a unanimity that the MIM will get seven seats, BJP five and the Independents likely to win six to seven seats.
To form the government in Telangana, out of 119 assembly seats one needs to get a minimum of 60 seats, in the case of TRS getting 50 or less seats, it will still be in an advantageous position as the MIM, the BJP and some Independents MLA’s are likely to extend their support and help them retain power in Telangana.
In case TRS and Congress fail to get 60 seats, both MIM and BJP are expected to emerge as King Makers as these parties are predicted to win more seats this time. According to some exit polls.
MIM may retain its seven seats and moreover, it might even add one more to its tally if fortunes favour. On the other hand, BJP is set to increase its influence in Telangana as analysts opine that BJP might get more than five seats this time.
