Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Palvai Goverdhan Reddy has said that he got confidence after meeting the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi that the Telangana State would be a reality.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday after meeting Sonia Gandhi at the latter’s residence, Palvai said that the Centre will announce a positive decision on Telangana issue. He said that the announcement will come soon and added that the TRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao was ready to merge his party in the Congress after favorable decision on the Telangana issue.
He said that the Congress party would definitely benefit with the merger of the TRS. He said he had explained the same to Sonia Gandhi.
