Hyderabad: Chairman of Telangana Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Saleem distributed pensions to divorced women which were not released for the past 10 months. In all, Rs. 47,44,942 were distributed. Every woman got Rs. 20-25 thousand.
Mr. Mohammed Saleem told that he has proposals for granting pensions to Muslim widows also. A resolution would be placed and passed in the next meeting of Wakf Board. He also suggested that one floor of the annexed building of Hajj House would be earmarked for the hospital where treatment would be offered free.
