Hyderabad, January 09: Vice Chancellor of Telangana University Prof. Mohammed Akbar Ali Khan informed that U.G.C. has granted recognition to Telangana University under section 2(B) of U.G.C. Act and the orders have been issued for it.
Telangana University was established during the tenure of Dr. Raja Sekhara Reddy. With this recognition, the university will be able to get grants to the tune of Rs. 10 to 15 crore every year and other funds under plan schemes.
The U.G.C. will also provide financial assistance for buildings up infrastructure, Laboratories and other facilities.
