Hyderabad: During the current year, 40 deaths occurred in Telangana State, out of which 30 persons belong to Hyderabad. The details show that in Telangana State, 1876 persons suffered from Swine flu out of which 1450 are from Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal Districts.
It is reported that in Gandhi Hospital, daily 2-3 patients are being admitted for Swine Flu. At present, there are 12 Swine Flu patients undergoing treatment in Gandhi Hospital. In addition to these patients, symptoms of Swine flu were detected in 6 more persons. It was also reported that women between the age group 45-50 are mostly affected by it.
List of precautions (not exhaustive)
- Wash hands frequently with soap or hand sanitizer as Swine flu viruses get transmitted through physical contacts including shaking hands.
- Don’t touch your nose, mouth or eyes after touching anything which is shared by others.
- Avoid large gatherings if Swine flu is spread in the season.
- Avoid using articles used by others including phones as viruses can survive on its surface too.
