Telangana Students’ Joint Action Committee has planned a two-month long protest to spread awareness about Telangana statehood among people in the region.
Disclosing the details before the media after the Students’ JAC meeting in the Osmania University campus on Sunday, TSJAC chairman P Ravi said that the committee has decided to organise membership drive from August 1 to 7th and “Go To College” program from August 8 to 15th.
Further, constituency level meetings would also be organized from Aug 16 to 30 and Padyatras from September 1 to 17th in the entire Telangana region. Finally, the TSJAC will organise Hyderabad March and Chalo Secretariat on September 27th to spread awareness about separate Telangana statehood issue. He called upon the people of the region to make the protest a grand success by participating in it in a big way.
TSJAC members M Anil, B Srinivas Goud, M Kiran, Madhu, D Rajender, E Parmesh and others were also attended the meeting.
