Hyderabad: Demanding immediate withdrawal of 14.5% VAT, Telangana State Petroleum Tank Trucks Owners Association’s President K. Rajashekhar Reddy threatened to go on a strike from Sunday midnight.
Strike by the tank truck owners will bring petrol, diesel and LPG cylinder supply to a halt in the city.
However, yesterday, Commercial Taxes Department Officials held a meeting with Oil Marketing Company Officials and tank truck owners to convince them to call off the strike.
