Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]: The Telangana Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Constitutional Amendment Bill.
Telangana has become the ninth state to ratify the Bill.
While the Legislative Council passed the Bill unanimously, the Legislative Assembly debated on the Bill. Opposition parties, sought clarifications on the Bill, but supported its passage.
The GST Constitution (122nd Amendment) Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha earlier in this month, with 443 members present in the House voting in favour of the legislation.
