Nagar Kurnool MLA Nagam Janardana Reddy said Telangana would be possible only through the BJP and not the TRS.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, he said while TRS has to achieve Telangana, BJP would give it, as it was going to come back to power. He said it was strange that the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao was stating that every one should join the Telangana movement, by joining the TRS and voting for it.
Nagam asserted that the Congress party would not concede Telangana. He has expressed confidence that the BJP-led NDA would come to power in 2014 and create the Telangana state.
Nagam expressed surprise about KCR describing the BJP as a communal party. He questioned if he did not know it, when he met BJP senior leader L K Advani after the last electons. It is appearing as if KCR was asking the people of the state to defeat BJP in the state, though entire country votes for BJP.
Nagam expressed the view that Telangana would not be possible through sub-regional parties. He has reminded that the BJP supported Telangana, even before the TRS was born. Asserting that the Congress has no chance of coming to power, he said he was joining the BJP on June 3, as that party would be romping back to power.
Nagam explained that if people vote for TRS and give it more number of seats, the party woud only be able to bring pressure on the centre and try to achieve Telangana. On the other hand, if BJP was voted to power, it would concede Telangana itself. Nagam Janardana Reddy would be joining the BJP at a public meeting to be held in the Nizam College grounds on June 3.
