Hyderabad, May 10: With YS Jagan’s emergence in the by-elections seemed inevitable , the political equations are likely to assume unexpected changes in almost all the north Telangana districts. Though there was lukewarm response to YSR Congress at the time of that party’s emergence feelers from political circles indicate that the post-election scene would certainly bring about drastic changes in the region.
In warangal the YSR Congress leadership is expecting several leaders joining the Jagan brigade. Although the Jagan party has got two MLCs and an MLA in the district, the second sting leadership in the district remained undecided particularly after the Mahabubabad incident of 2010,May 28. The post election period, as per the observers may not bring about any serious transformation and no major change in this part could be evidenced in warangal.
In Karimnagar too, only two leaders Makhan Singh and Gone Prakash Rao are currently in the brigade along with the Singareni leader of SAJAC Janak Prasad. There too no change is likely.
Leaders from Nizamabad say that a clarity on the Telangana issue from Jagan would certainly attract the local cadre join the brigade. Three days away from the results, YSR Congress leaders are keen on making several surprises in the Telangana districts.
