Suggesting that the achievements during Asif Jahi and Qutub Shahi are included in syllabus books, social activist Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani said the first political party coming to power in the new state should include achievements made during Asif Jahi and Qutub Shahi period in the school syllabus, to enlighten new generation about reformations made during the said period. It would also help in eliminating the differences created among Telangana people during Andhrite leaders’ hegemony. Giving an interview here Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani further said it is the responsibility of the ruling party in the new Telangana state to provide equal developmental opportunities to marginalized groups to fulfill the promise of Samajika Telangana state and to eliminate inferiority complex among exploited and discriminated classes.
He said Muslims were ousted from government jobs in an organized manner after the formation of United Andhra Pradesh. He alleged Andhrite leaders of depriving Muslims of basic and higher education and said not a single degree college was established by state administration in entire Rangareddy district similar is the case with Muslim predominant areas where lack of government schools is the cause for keeping Muslim community away from education.
He advised political party whoever comes to power to review the performance Tamil Nadu administration to provide reservations to Telangana Muslims proportionate to their population.
