Muslim JAC welcomed the steps taken by the Central Govt. for the formation of separate Telangana State. It expressed its view that the formation of separate Telangana State is in the interest of Muslims but it should be a strong secular State. Communal forces might take advantage to exploit it politically. In such a case 18% Muslims should be alert in this region. They have to formulate a positive strategy for their future development. The greatest challenge of today for the Muslims is secularism. Muslim JAC decided to continue its struggle for maintaining secular values in the region. Instead of feeling happy, the Muslims should act tactfully and formulate their strategies in the political field.
