Hyderabad, January 31: Congress MPs from Telanganatoday urged the union government to introduce a bill inParliament in the budget session facilitating creation ofseparate Telangana state.
All the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs of the partyfrom the region who met here today in a joint letter sent toUnion Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee stressed the urgentneed for the tabling of the bill.
“We will not accept anything less than a separateTelangana”, G Vivek, MP from Peddapalli in Karimnagar districttold media persons.
The meeting was also attended by some state ministersfrom Telangana region.
