Separate Telangana Movement has turned into major storm and no one can stop it now. Mr. K.Chandrasekhar Rao President of TRS told this at a public meeting held at Nizam College yesterday. Congress MP’s Mr. G.Vivek, Mr. Manda Jagannadham and former APCC President Dr. K.Keshava Rao joined TRS. In addition to these leaders former TDP leaders Mr. P.Chandrashekara Roa, Ex- Law minister, Mr. Venkatesh Goud Mr. Janardhan Reddy, Mr. Manik Reddy and CPI leader Mr. Mohd Yousuf also joined TRS.
Mr. Chandrashekar Rao told that Telangana Movement has entered into a decisive stage and very soon the dream of Separate Telangana will come true. He told that these leaders have not joined TRS by cheating other parties but they have come back home. He welcomed all those leaders who joined TRS and said that he welcomes all of them who have joined TRS by setting aside their parties. Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao appealed to the people to write a major history by making “Chalo Assembly” program a grand success. TRS will make this program great event in achieving separate Telangana. He told that TRS is a party free from religion and caste. There is only one agenda which is Telangana. He further told that TRS is a party based on Secular values. It is struggling to ensure the development of all the communities equally. He also told that the solution of all the problems Telangana is facing is only the formation of separation State.
Targeting Manmohan Singh Mr. Chandrashekar Roa told that when TRS MP’s entered the Parliament, all the member of other political parties welcome them by saying “Jai Telangana “ and assure that their struggle for seeking justice for Telangana will come true one day. But Dr. Manmohan Singh is like a statue of stone. He avoids expressing his ideas on Telangana. He regretted that Telangana leaders of Congress and TDP are exhibiting their shamelessness. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is saying on the floor of the Assembly that he wont give single rupee for Telangana and the members of these parties kept silent. Replying to criticism of media persons that there are no sentiments for Telangana in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, he said that by getting success in the recent held elections in RTC, GHMC and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Board, It has proved that Telangana sentiments are very much there in the twin cities.
He told that in the event of separate Telangana, TRS will ensure 12% reservation for the Muslims. He also told that a Dalit would be the CM and a Muslim would be Deputy CM. He also assured that Wakf properties would be protected.Address Dr. Keshav Rao he told that he knows that he doesn’t want to continue in politics, despite it , he wants to participate in Telangana struggle because Dr. Keshav Roa’s efforts are essential for getting Telangana. Rejecting the alliance with any communal party, he said that TRS will not allow to get a stain on its Secular Image. He told that Congress is a treacherous party, it didn’t do anything except exploiting the sentiments of the people of Telangana. TRS know how to get Telangana State. He questioned the Govt. that does it want TRS to start another big campaign for getting Telangana.
Address the gatherting Dr. Keshav Rao expressed his belief that under the leadership of Mr. K.Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana could be form. . Present on this occasion were, TRS MP of Medak Ms. Vijay Shanti, Mr. K.Harish Roa, Mr. E.Rajendra (MLA), Mr. Mohd Mahmud Ali and Mr. Tarik Rama Rao. A large number of supports of Telangana were present at Nizam College Ground. Revolutionary singer sang poems to pay homage to the martyrs of Telangana.
