Telangana: Minister KTR Rama Rao inspects Hyderabad Metro Rail

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao today inspected the Hyderabad Metro works between Ameerpet and LB nagar.

He was accompanied by other Transport Minister Mahender Reddy, MP Malla Reddy. The officials took the trial run of the newly constructed second phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail from Ameerpet to LB nagar, Hans reported.

The Ministers reviewed various facilities offered at the new metro service to its customers. The 16-km stretch will soon begin its services.

Apart from Ministers, Chief Electrical Inspector DVS Raju for Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) inspected the Overhead Electric Traction System (OETS) between Punjagutta to LB Nagar Metro stations on Monday giving his nod for energizing.

The HMR authorities have been running month-long trials of the new service and intend to complete the trials by the end of July month with acquiring their permissions from concerned officials and starting the services from August.
