Hyderabad: A student scored 98.5 percent marks in intermediate exam despite many hurdles. B. Sreevani (18) scored 985 marks out of 1000 in the examination.
According to the report published in Times of India, during her studies, she often used to travel to her village in Jangaon District to meet her parents as her mother is bed-ridden and her father is a agricultural labour.
However, these problems failed to stop her from securing 985 marks in the intermediate exam. She is a student of the Jaffergadh-based Telangana Social Welfare Residential School. She studied mathematics, physics and chemistry during her intermediate. Now, she desires to seek admission in one of the top Engineering College of the country.
Talking about her future goal, Sreevani said that she wants to secure a seat in IIT. She recently wrote JEE (Main).
