Telangana: KCR announced Rs 25L for each Pulwama martyred families

Hyderabad: On Friday, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh each for the families of 40 martyrs of Pulwama attack.

This was announced in the Telangana Assembly following which the House passed a unanimous resolution.

According to the Telangana Today report, Mr Rao, while moving the resolution said, there was a need to send a strong message that the Telangana government and the entire nation stood with the families of Pulwama martyrs. “It was a ghastly act. This incident has shocked entire India. We deeply mourn it,” CM added.

Congress leader M Bhatti Vikramarka condemned the attack and appreciate KCR’s decision for the families of the martyred soldiers.

Ahmed Balala, MIM MLA also condemned the Pulwama attack and demanded a probe into how explosives in large quantities were transported into a safe zone.

“Enough is enough. Now is the time to talk to them in their own language. I request the CM to write a letter to the PM to put Pakistan in its place. Telangana will stand by him,” BJP’s lone legislator wrote to the CM KCR urging him to write a letter to Narendra Modi.
