Telangana: K Ramakrishna Reddy resigns as Advocate General of TS

Hyderabad: The first Advocate General of Telangana state in an unexpected move has resigned.
K. Ramakrishna Reddy has submitted his resignation to the state government.

Mr Reddy faxed his resignation letter on Wednesday to the Chief Secretary of the government, reports Deccan Chronicle.

He was appointed as the first Advocate General of the newly-formed Telangana state on June 21, 2014.

He completed his three-year term on June 21 this year, and the state government wants to appoint a new Advocate General.

As per the sources, the law department of the state has revealed that there is a possibility of D. Prakash Reddy, senior counsel and former advocate-general to be appointed as the new Advocate General.
