Hyderabad, March 21: The Telangana political Joint Action Committee (JAC) would hold a meeting here soon to finalise its pro-Telangana agitation, its Convener M Kodandaram said today.
“The steering committee (of JAC) would meet soon and decide the future course of action,” he said, addressing a pro-Telangana meeting here.
He alleged that the Centre is dilly-dallying on the statehood issue even after the submission of the Srikrishna Committee report in December last.
Dismissing reports in a section of media that pro- Telangana groups have suspended their agitation till May in view of the Assembly elections in five states, Kodandaram said the fight for separate statehood is a continuous process.
The JAC comprises TRS, BJP and a number of people’s organisations like Telangana government employees unions.
