Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily asked publicly the leaders of Telangana Joint Action Committee and TRS for the defeat of Mr. Sayeed Ibrahim who was a candidate of TRS for Assembly constituency in Mahboob Nagar. He was addressing Eid-Milap function at Mahboob Nagar organized by Minorities United Reservation Front. By asking this question openly, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan askef Prof. Kodandaram ,Jitender reddy and srinivas goud and Trs leadersip to accept moral responsibility of defeat of the Muslim candidate floated by TRS.
Prof. Kodandaram Chairman of Telangana Political JAC, former Minister, Mr. P.Chandrasekhar and former M.P. Mr. Jeetander Reddy former MP attended Eid 0 Milap function and congratulated the Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitar. They promised to do full justice to the Muslim in the proposed Telangana State. Assurances were given for the implementation of Sachar Committee report and the recommendation of Ranganatha Mishra Committee. After the speeches of these leaders when Zaheeruddin Ali Khan was invited to speak, he boldly and frankly addressing the leader made these leaders nonplussed. He told that in functions like Eid-Milap the leaders give verbal assurances but when the time comes for providing an opportunity for the development of Muslim, the same leaders push the Muslims into the cave of backwardness. Votes are taken from Muslims by showing green pesters.
On the basis of votes polled by the Muslims these leaders occupy important positions and put hurdles in the development of Muslim. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan frankly asked Mr. Kodandaram that Mr. KCR represents Maboobnagar in the Parliament on the strength of the Muslims votes but when a Muslim candidate was given TRS ticket to contest Assembly election from Mahmoobnagar, Telangana Political JAC did not support the Muslim candidates and that includes Trs local leadership . He made Mr. Kodamdaram, Jeetandar Reddy, Mr. Srinivas Reddy, Ms. Kavitha and Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao responsible for the defeat of Mr. Syed Ibrahim.
He made it clear to the leaders of Telangana Political JAC that in the future that the policy of hypocrisy won’t get them Muslim votes. He clearly told the leader that they should not made verbal promises to the Muslims but they should ensure the development of the Muslims in every field in the proposed Telangana State. He further told by maintaining National integration and Secularism, the development of the country could be ensured.
The audience enthusiastically applauded the free and frank thoughts of Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan whereas the leaders were wonder struck. On this occasion, Prof. Kodandaram expressed his repentance on the defeat of Muslim candidate in Mahboob Nagar and accepted moral responsibility.
He told that the criticism leveled and the apprehensions expressed against the role of Telangana Political JAC are absolutely correct. He assured that such mistakes won’t be repeated again in the future. In his address Mr. Kodandaram highlighted the importance of month of Ramazan and pointed out that it is a good gesture that during this sacred month the declaration of the formation of Telangana State was made. He also assured that the Muslim would be provided equal opportunities of development in the proposed Telangana State.
Mr. Zafarullah Siddiqui presided over the function. Mr. Mohd Haneef Ahmed, State Convener of Minorities Reservation United Front told that 90% of the Muslim population is facing backwardness. He appealed to the political parties to support the question of Muslim reservation unitedly.

Venkatesh, Mr. Baber Shaik, Mr. Altaf Hussain Advocate, Mr. Mohd Haneef, Mr. Samad Khan , Mr. Iqbal Khan, Shaik Abdullah, Dr. Mohammed Basheeruddin, Principal of Al-Madina College of Education, Mr. Mohammed Sajjad, Mr. Subani Patel, Mr. Khaja Faizuddin, Mr. Mirza Quddus Baigh and other attended the function.
