Telangana IT minister to launch Techwave’s USD 5 m global delivery center

Hyderabad, July 31 : Telangana’s IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao will formally inaugurate

Techwave Consulting Inc, five million dollart global delivery centre at the Phoenix Avance Business Park in Madhapur on Saturday (August 1).

Disclosing this in a press note issued in Hyderabad today, Damodar Rao Gummadapu, CEO said, “Hyderabad is our global delivery center. Opening up the second office in Hyderabad is part of our global expansion plans. This new facility is being inaugurated after we opened our operations in Middle East, APAC and further expansion in USA.”

“The new facility will not only serve as our global delivery centre (GDC), supporting Techwave’s clients from across the globe, but also to achieve the 600 people GDC goal we laid out for the year 2015,” informed Rajasekhar Gummandapu, COO.

In addition to providing global support, this location enables a state of the art Remote Infrastructure management (RIM) services using integrated monitoring facility built in new Global Development Center. Techwave has secured a prominent place in global market for its ERP, Business Analytics and EPM solution implementation services.

The newly opened GDC will help expand delivery of premium services such as Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and advanced data mining from Hyderabad. This will not only help clients get these services from an established firm, but also at the most cost effective approach using the delivery model from offshore, said Damodar Rao Gummadapu.

It is typical to use offshore services for a routine and maintenance work for the client, but Techwave is redefining offshore leveraging this model to help clients with premium services in emerging technologies.

Techwave is planning to recruit various professionals for this new Hyderabad location to further develop various emerging technology services practices from Hyderabad. Our goal is to increase employee base in Hyderabad to 1000 and globally 1500. This we would like to achieve by the end of December 2016, informed Damodar Rao Gummadapu.

Techwave has a vision and roadmap for significant growth plans through expanding its global client base and strategic acquisitions to achieve a USD 100mn revenue target by the year 2016.
