Irritated by their arrests, Congress M.P’s targeted the State Govt. that it is a part of a conspiracy to sabotage Telangana March by erecting barricades on the roads and also by stopping the district protesters from attending the March.
The police arrested Mr. Madhu Goud Yashki, Mr. M.Jagannadham and Dr. K.Keshava Rao. They warned the Govt. to refrain from such practices. They reminded the Govt. its observation made earlier that Telangana issue has become very sensitive. It is, therefore, necessary for the Govt. to feel its sensitivity now. The issue that is associated with the emotions of the people, when it is delayed, it becomes explosive like a volcano. The Congress has to face its consequences. It would pose a threat to the very existence of the Congress Party. They blamed the State Govt. that it hatched a conspiracy to keep the Central Govt. misinformed about the sensitivity of the issue, the results of which are forthcoming today. The situation is that the Chief Minister is not prepared to meet the Congress M.P’s. When the Congress M.P’s went to meet the C.M., the police arrested them. They had gone to Gun Park to pay homage to the martyrs of Telangana and then they expressed their intention to represent about the attitude of the police to the C.M. and to request him to keep the police within limits. Sensing it before hand, police arrested them.
