Hyderabad, April 8: Telangana issue echoed yesterday in the 5th General body meeting of GHMC. Congress corporators demanded that a resolution to be passed in the general body meeting on introduction of the Telangana bill in Parliament.
Congress corporator Satya Prakash Goud who was holding a banner went to the Mayor’s podium along with the other corporators meanwhile BJP corporators too joined hands with them and at one time the general body meeting echoed with ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans.
However the Mayor rejected the demand later on.
