Telangana: Hospitals to remain close for 24 hours

Hyderabad: As a protest for ongoing attacks on doctors in the hospitals of the country, leaders of Indian Medical Association of Telangana State, Telangana Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association, Hospitals Board of India have decided to keep all the government and private hospitals closed from 6 a.m. on 17th June to 6 a.m. on 18th June.

Chairman of Hospital Board of India, Dr. Y. Ravindra Rao and special representative of TANA, Dr. Ravi Shanker told the media persons that the attacks on the doctors in various hospitals in the country are on the increase. He condemned such attacks and told that governments seem to have failed in providing protection to doctors.
