Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee began action against an employee of the committee who absconded after taking huge amount from various persons as loan. The employee went missing for the past 10 days without informing the committee. He has changed his residence and switched off the cell phone.
Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor has begun action against the employee for remaining absent without informing and issued show-cause notice to him. According to sources the said employee had not deposited the amount of a Hajj pilgrim few years ago which was revealed during Central Hajj Committee audit. The same employee took loan from authorities of private Hajj societies in Zaheerabad, Nalgonda and other places. When he was pressurised to return the amount he went absconding.
Prof. Shukoor clarified that the matter has no relation with Hajj committee or its amount rather it is purely a private matter however action is being taken against him for remaining absent from duty.
