Nizamabad MP K Kavitha on Sunday claimed that the TRS Government of Telangana was maintaining cordial relationship with the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.
Addressing a meeting organised by Telangana Jagruthi, an NGO which she heads, Kavitha said that the Centre has been cooperating with the State Government on several fronts. She also said that the Centre was acting as a perfect mediator to resolve the difference among two Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. She said the issues like bifurcation of employees, separate High Court and Pranahita Chevella would be resolved soon.
Recalling the services of late Prof. Jayashankar, Kavitha said that he would remain an inspiration for the Telangana people. She announced that Telangana Jagruthi would install Prof. Jayashankar’s statues in all districts.
Kavitha also claimed that people have been appreciating the welfare schemes being implemented by the Chief Minister. She said that the ongoing political trend clearly indicates that TRS would be the only party that would survive in Telangana State.
The Nizamabad MP also demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu should be made the Accused No. 1 in the ‘Cash for Vote’ case in which TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed while trying to bribe a nominated MLA. Questioning Naidu’s silence on the issue, she said that the TDP chief demands CBI enquiry on all issues, but he has remained silent on this case. Instead, he has been conspiring to defame the TRS Government, she alleged. (INN)
