Telangana government has begun efforts to get additional quota of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali has decided to take the matter to the centre. He sent a letter to foreign minister Sushma Swaraj requesting to allot additional quota of 2000 for Telangana.
He discussed the matter with chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on which CM expressed concern over less quota and agreed to take the matter to the centre. He told that the new state should be allotted additional quota and he would send letter to prime minister and foreign minister. Chief minister requested Mr. Mahmood Ali to hand over his letter personally to foreign minister in New Delhi.
